Vlog 32: The Italian Job
On a recent trip, the handle to the sliding door to the campervan was pulled out of its mounting such that it would no longer open the door but just hung there limply on the side of the van.
After some internet research (which through up no videos about how to do this on a van but one video about how to do a similar task on a car door – see https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LAquoawV_rY), I had a go at fixing it and this video shows how you do it.
The principle appears to be applicable to all kinds of cars, vans etc even if yours is not a Toyota Proace (which is what my van is)
No van on a canal yet? I almost did that in the 1950s. I was a ship’s driver on the USS Canberra and the crude maps we were give for Amsterdam did not mach clear which lines were streets and which were canals.
Really enjoy your content, follow you around when you sometimes mention the other channels you have on Cruising the Cut.
I think the lesson here for every is…….Check YouTube first, with how ever many millions interacting/ sharing on here….There is probably a way shown.
Even if it is just one single video about something vaguely close to what you maybe looking for.
A massive leap forward from the 1970’s How it Works encyclopedia!
Thank you, yes YouTube has everything!!
