To resolve your towel drying issue, have you considered a retractable clothesline? We have one and it works quite well. Doesn’t take up lots of space to install, and you simply stretch out the rope to a hook at the opposite end when you need it. Voila!

I think that could well be the way to go, as long as I can find a suitable mounting point at the back of the van (there’s some wiring that goes up the corner channel and now it’s all covered by carpet so I can’t see what I’d be drilling into, I’m a little nervous of installing anything there but also because of the carpet, magnets wouldn’t stick…. thanks for the kind words about the videos too, much appreciated.
