Vlog 35: Like a Limestone Cowboy

Continuing the campervan journey, we went across a very narrow and ancient bridge, up to Llangattock Escarpment, over to Sugarloaf Mountain and finally to the Llangattock wharf where the canal barges of old would have been laden with lime after it was brought down from the quarry by tram.

  1. If you are still about Wales don’t miss Big Pit. GOOGLE it if unsure.

  2. Thank you so much for sharing your travels in South Wales – born and raised at Varteg (Talywain/Pontypool valley), now living in the US – but loved seeing the rugged countryside and yes, remember the rain – the clouds have to release the rain so that they can get up and over the mountains 😁. Have you been to Big Pit Blaenavon Museum – my father was a coal miner there. Cheers!

  3. I’m rather dissaponted that there’s no more to wathch. My buddy Mark suggested I might like CTCso I watched a couple, found your main site, and watched 164 in a week. Then Mark told me about vandemonium. 35 were gone in a few days. Your attributes, with commas, would fill several sentences. Suffice to say I’m a fan! Waiting impatiently for more.

    • I’m glad you enjoy the videos! Pace yourself!! CtC has been up and running for nearly four years hence rather more videos than Vandemonium which only started a year or so ago. The van videos will always be somewhat more erratic than the boat ones, very much ad-hoc as I take trips or do things. But there will be more… cheers

  4. I very much enjoyed this video David, the first of your Van Series I’ve seen. Thanks for suggesting it to me. Now . . . I’ve got another Vlog to watch weekly ;)

  5. Love your Narrow boat Blogs
